General Grounds Questions
We hope you never have to cancel your stay at Red Run Resort and Campground. However, we know life can get in the way. If cancellation is necessary, deposits will be refunded as follows:
– Cancellation at least 14 days prior to arrival – Refund, less $10.00 admin fee
– Cancellation at least 5 to 13 days prior to arrival – Refund, less one-nihgt fee plus $10.00 admin fee
– Cancellation less than 5 Days Prior to Arrival – No Refund or Rain Check
– Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore, we do not give refunds or credits due to the discomforts of nature or early departures.
Yes. Over the weekend, we have a two-night minimum. This should be Friday night and Saturday night.

Early Check-in Or Late Check-out May be available. Contact the office directly to see if this service is available for your site. A $15 fee will be charged for either service. If you wish for a late checkout and early check-in, the fee would be $30.

Serving you is our top priority; stop by the office or call the front desk at 717-445-4526. If you have an after-hours emergency, you can find the number posted at the office. We have not listed the number for off-hours service on the website, as the emergency number is a personal phone number.
At Red Run Resort and Campground, we are happy to offer a free firewood program. Stop by our main office to learn more.

You can bring your own firewood to the grounds. However, per state regulations, it may not be from outside Pennsylvania. We also sell firewood at the camp store for $7 a bundle, which can be purchased after office hours by depositing your money in the lockbox.
Golf carts are allowed on the grounds, but no unlicensed drivers may drive the vehicles. The speed limit is 5 mph, and you are responsible for your own insurance.
Bicycles, E-bikes, electric skateboards, electric scooters, hoverboards, and other ride-on items are allowed on the grounds during daylight hours. We do ask that when it is dark out, everything be walked for the purposes of safety.
Anything that you choose to ride on at Red Run Resort and Campground is at your own risk. We are not liable for any injuries when riding any of your items.

Questions About The Pool
No. The pool is swim at your own risk. Everyone 16 and under needs to be accompanied by an adult when using the pool.
The pool is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Pool toys are allowed for children only. Please be considerate of those around you so that everyone can haev a great time.
Questions About Fishing
Yes. Fishing is allowed in the creek. However, per state regulations a licesnse is required except for special holidays. To see what holidays are exempt from needing a fishing licesense, take a look at the PA Boat And Fishing Comission.
We also ask that you be considerate of families playing in the creek so that injuries can be prevented.
Yes. Fishing in the pond is allowed. You may fish in the pond with out a fishing liscense as we own and stock the pond. All fishing in the pond is catch and release.
You may use whatever bait you like. We have found that the best bait for fishing in the is hotdogs. However, we hope you can prove us wrong by using your preferred bait.
Yes we have bait available for purchase in the store.
Questions About Campsites
Yes. We offer pump-out services on Monday and Thursday. You must sign up 24 hours ahead of time. The fee for this service is $20.
If you need pump-out service of regular service time, it will cost $30 per service.
2 Adults and 3 Kids are included in the price of your site. If you want additional people on your site, there is a $10 fee per person. No more than a total of 8 people per site.
Yes. You may have visitors to your site, but they must check in with the office and give us your campsite’s number. There is a $10 fee per day (a literal 24-hour period). There may not be more than 8 people at your campsite. Before leaving the grounds, your guest must check out at the office. If this does not occur, you will be charged for another visitation day.
You may have 1 dwelling for sleeping at your site. You also have 1 pop-up canopy and 1 shower tent per site.
Yes. You may have 1 pop-up canopy and 1 shower tent at your site. However, if you will be gone for an extended period, we ask that you take your canopy down.
Yes. You may move the picnic table on your campsite. However, if you have multiple sites and combine your tables, please ensure that your tables are back at the original site.
Yes. All of our sites can be used as tent sites. However, there is no discounted rate for this option.
We do not have “visiting hours,” but we do have a time limit for visitation. Each visitation day is measured by 24 hours. If you stay beyond a 24-hour period, another day will be charged.
No. Not every site can handle campers of every size or RV. To see which sites can handle your size RV or camper, head over to out booking page. Any of the sites can handle a typical 8-person tent.
Questions About Pets
Yes. You may have two pets per your site. There is no fee for having pets at your campsite.
Yes. You are allowed two dogs per a unit. There is a $90 fee for have pets in your unit.
You must clean up your pet’s waste immediately. It should be put in your trash and not in the fire pit. If your site is not cleaned up before your departure, a $50 service fee will be added to your final bill.
We do not have any pet or breed restriction sat this time, and we want to keep it that way! We do ask that your dog is up to date on their rabies shot. This is for the safety of our guests. You are liable for a the behavior of your pets. Aggressive pets will not be allowed to return in the future.

Yes, our Tiny Cabins and tiny homes on the lake side area are available to rent year round. The Airbnb listings is the most up-to-date way to see available days.
